Castle fantasia 3 english patch11/9/2022 I watched the AIR anime, and while the story, music, and art direction was very well done, I honestly wasn't as tied to the characters of AIR as I was to those of Clannad (loved that anime). I downloaded Kanon and AIR, but from what I've heard, AIR doesn't have an english translation! D: My friend thinks I'm crazy that I think reading text on the screen is fun, but I tell him I find it very entertaining and say I find that VN's have much more substance that your run-of-the-mill FPS (but I still like those too). Honestly, the VN genre is now my personal favorite. Those are all the visual novels I've played. I liked how the story was broken up into days, so like after I'd finish a day, I'd save and play another day tomorrow. I loved each and every character, and the H-scenes were well done. The battle scenes were extremely well done, and the music was fantastic. I honestly was confused when you switched characters in the beginning (from Tosaka to Emiya Shirou) but after like 10 minutes, I realized "Hey! I'm following a different character!"Īnyways, I really, REALLY, liked this one. I can't exactly remember the completion time, but I'm guessing it took me around 10-12 hours. Nice MIDI style music, and the night segments actually scared the crap out of me (maybe it was the music? Idk.). I thought it was very good and there were some shock scenes in that game as well. I first played Divi-Dead on my Dreamcast. That's not everything, I guess you missed some great translated VN there.or maybe you forgot to mention them Story lacks a little but characters are unique in their own rights.īig Bang Age: another addicting strategy world-conquer simulation and strategy rpg, it's ridiculous vampire vs tanks vs samurai vs demons vs crusaders might make you balk however. Sengoku Rance: Extremely addicting strategy world-counquer simulation and strategy rpg game. By most standards a kinetic novel, though choices do not affect plotline. Utawarerumono : great story, good strategy rpg, lots pf funny scenes and cool characters. The next few have actual gameplay elements and may be recommended for them only: Extremely intriguing psychological and political turmoil to be found. Sharin no Kuni and Devil on G-strings: honestly, anything from Akabeisoft 2 is astounding in its writing. Kana~ little sister : also a tear-jerker, and celebrated to be one of the few games to really explode in america in the VN world. Planetarian : A kinetic, short novel that will easily pull your heart strings. It's best to play this after fate though because the terrible art will dissappoint, but the plot and characters are top-notch, so it remains a huge hit! Tsukihime : Also a must play, I played it right after fate. If you wanna start getting into VNs, play this first, you won't regret it. I specifically reccommend the following for the stated reasons:įate/stay night : this is where I first fell in love with VN's, and honestly, it's still one of the goddamn best VNs to date. I feel like Im missing some, but I can't recall them at the moment.Īnyways, If anyone is looking for info on these, then just ask and I'll tell you! Muv-Luv Extra and Unlimited, not Alternative though Edeleweiss and Edelweiss Eiden Fantasia I even get japanese versions and try my best to play through those, leanrning along the way. I've played quite a few, actually - practically everything thats been translated to english.
